Is that shiny (cleanable) tacky vinyl on the seats? You bet! I have already cleaned catsup, rice and orange juice off of them! I'm SO happy!

Makeover: Pimp My Closet
This year for my birthday I really wanted to have my closet custom fitted with stuff that would make the space usable. I am a big fan of spending a little money on getting something functional, especially when it comes to storage. For most people there is no big rush when you walk out of WalMart with 10 storage bins but for me that is a good time! Anyway, it was time with the closet.
Our closet is tiny in todays world. It is a 4x6 "walk in"...and I have to share it with Lowell! Inconceivable for some, I know, but that's what we have to work with. So getting pictures was a little hard. This before photo is pathetic but suffice it to say that it was full of junk and totally disorganized.

All of this stuff was in that little tiny closet so you can imagine the mess.

Lowell took out the top shelf and raised the bar up to the ceiling (This is now a closet for tall people only , Sally and Traci you're outta luck! Sorry.) Then we got the cool sliding cubby things at IKEA and shoe stackers too. The back wall will soon be home to 8 or 10 hooks...hopefully this weekend! I have to say that I am totally pleased. I did come to realize that I have no clothes though. I am sure those of you that know me in real life already knew that but I was a little surprised at how little there was of mine to put back in.
Anyway....there it is: my new closet.
